NEET 2022 Application Last Date Extended; May 15 New Deadline

Good news for NEET aspirants!

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to fill the NEET Exam 2022 Application Form. According to its official notification, students can now fill out the NEET Exam 2022 Application Form till 15th May 2022 on the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/

How to Fill the NTA NEET 2022 Application Form

Students first need to go to the official website which has been mentioned above and then follow the steps mentioned below.

  • On the new page that opens, click on the tab that says “New Registration”
  • Provide your personal information as asked by the website. Doing this will generate you an application number and password.
  • Log in with these credentials 
  • Fill out the NTA NEET application form, which includes filling in your personal and academic details as well as contact information, exam centers, and dress code.
  • Upload scanned copies of your passport, signature, postcard-sized photos, and left-hand thumb impression according to said guidelines.
  • Doing the above successfully shall take you to the payment gateway, where you need to pay the Registration Fees via your preferred medium. The fees this year are INR 1,600 (for General candidates), INR 1,500 (for EWS candidates), and INR 900 (for Reserved candidates)

Students are advised to carefully read the instructions before proceeding with application filling. After the completion of the above steps, it would be advisable to download the final form and keep a printout of the same.

Documents Required for NEET 2022

The above process will be a smooth and hassle-free one if candidates have the required documents ready for the process. The most important documents one needs, have been mentioned below.

  1.  Aadhaar Card 
  2. Certificates of Class X and Class XII
  3. ID Proof that is valid and government-issued, like Passport Ration Card, or Bank Statement.
  4. Scanned copies of passport, signature, postcard-sized photos, and left-hand thumb impression.
  5. Payment gateway details (Credit/Debit Card/UPI/Net Banking)

NTA NEET Exam 2022 will be held in 13 languages on 17th July 2022 in pen-and-paper format. A total of 90,825 MBBS seats are up for grabs, out of which, 27,948 seats are for BDS, 52,720 seats for AYUSH, 603 seats for BVSc, 1899 seats for AIIMS, and 249 seats for JIPMER.
