FMGE/NEXT Exam Preparation Tips

The exam syllabus is quite comprehensive and contains many important topics that need to be read at least once. The syllabus is compiled from the entire syllabus that was completed at the graduation level. To know more about how to read the exam syllabus promptly, read below:

  • Split the syllabus into two parts. The exam syllabus is quite long, so it’s a good idea to split each topic into smaller parts so that students can focus on all the chapters at once.
  • Create a daily schedule and spread out study hours throughout the day. That way, students will be able to focus on different chapters throughout the day.
  • Try as many mock exams as possible. Solving mock exams is beneficial because it helps students understand the nature of the questions and the level of difficulty of the exam.
  • Try to revise your question papers from last year. By revising your papers from last year, the candidate will be able to find their weak points and revise them thoroughly.

Need of NEXT Exam for MBBS candidates

In addition to being the qualifying exam for the final year MBBS students, the NEXT test will also provide a license to the students, which will enable them to practice medicine in India. In addition to this, the exam also provides a merit-based admission process for students who want to pursue postgraduate studies. This merit-based admission process aims to provide a fair chance to meritorious students who want to specialize in the field of medicine.

Questions have been asked about the lack of uniformity in medical education and the need for a more harmonized and standardized assessment of medical practitioners. The new NEXT test addresses these concerns by introducing a standardized test that will assess the clinical knowledge and skills of medical graduates, creating a level playing field and ensuring that all doctors possess the necessary skills to provide quality healthcare
