UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration Deadline Extended: Check New Dates, Timings, and Direct Link at upneet.gov.in

The DGME, Uttar Pradesh, has officially extended the last date for online registration for UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 to August 14, 2026. Aspiring candidates eligible for state quota MBBS and BDS admissions can register themselves until 2:00 PM on August 14, 2026, and the payment of fees and security deposit shall continue to be processed until 5:00 PM on August 14, 2026. The application process needs to be completed at upneet.gov.in only.

In the current year, there will be many students aspiring to get admission into government and private institutions after clearing the NEET UG exam. The first counseling session by DGME Uttar Pradesh enables eligible students to apply for state quota MBBS and BDS seats. In light of the difficulties that the aspirants have experienced in terms of documentation and payment of fees, the concerned authorities have made an extension to the registration process to make sure that no student misses out.

Fee Structure for UP NEET UG Round 1 Counselling

The applicants need to ensure that the transactions through the payment gateway are completed by the deadline of 5:00 PM, August 14, 2026. The absence of payment of the prescribed security fee would automatically render the application form disqualified.

• Registration Fee: INR 2,000 (Non-refundable)

• Security Fee for Government Medical/Dental: INR 30,000

• Security Fee for Private Medical/Dental: INR 2,000,000

Candidates wishing to apply through state merit need to complete the following process in order to ensure their meritorious application for Round 1:

• Step 1- Candidates who have not registered for the UP NEET UG counselling can visit the official website at https://dgme.up.gov.in/. 

• Step 2- On the website, find the link for "UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Registration" on the home page.

• Step 3- Now log in or create your ID by using your NEET UG roll number and application ID. Also, you will be required to enter your personal and educational details.

• Step 4- After entering all the details,s upload your scanned documents that include your NEET 2026 scorecard, photo, signature, and thumbprint as per the given specifications.

• Step 5- Make the payment of the non-refundable registration fee and security deposit through net banking, credit or debit cards.

• Step 6- Get a printed copy of your final registration and payment receipts for the next choice-filling process.
