UP NEET UG 2025: Round 1 Counselling Schedule Updated Again, Registration to Start Shortly

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) Uttar Pradesh has changed the Round 1 counselling schedule for NEET UG 2025 admissions for MBBS and BDS courses in the state. The new counselling dates were announced recently. The aim is to make the process clear, fair and easy for medical students in UP.

As per the revised schedule, registration for Round 1 counselling of UP NEET UG 2025 will begin on August 8, 2025 (today) on the official website. Candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2025 exam must complete their registration process by August 11, 2025. This includes filling out the form, uploading documents and paying the registration and security deposit fees.

The Round 1 seat allotment result for UP NEET UG 2025 will be announced on August 14, 2025. Candidates who are allotted seats can then download their allotment letters from the official website. After getting their seat allotment, candidates must complete the admission process by reporting to their allotted colleges between August 18 and August 23. An extra window from August 25 to August 26 will be available for students who face any issues or delays during the first reporting period.

The UP NEET UG counselling process manages around 85% of the state quota seats, while the remaining 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats are handled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at the national level.
