UP NEET PG Counselling 2025: Starting Soon, Registration & Fees

The Uttar Pradesh NEET PG counselling will be conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh. It is for the admission into MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in both government and private medical colleges in the state. The candidates who have qualified the NEET PG 2025 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The whole process of the counselling will be held online which makes it easier for the students in which the students have to register, fill choices, and check allotments from anywhere.

The first thing is that the students have to register on the official website of NEET PG UP counselling by giving their personal and academic details, uploading scanned documents, and paying the required registration fee. After that, the state authority will release a merit list based on NEET PG scores, which will show the order in which candidates can participate in choice filling and seat allotment. • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

• Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed MBBS from a recognised medical college in India and should have completed the internship. 

• NEET PG Qualification: Must have qualified NEET PG 2025 exam with the required cutoff percentile.

• State Quota Eligibility: Candidates who completed MBBS from medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh are eligible for state quota seats.

• Other State Candidates: Students from other states can apply for private medical colleges in UP under the management/NRI quota.

• Document Requirement: Must provide valid documents such as MBBS degree, an internship certificate, a registration certificate, and ID proof during counselling.

The Uttar Pradesh NEET PG counselling will be held in multiple rounds by DMET. The process usually begins with Round 1, where candidates register, fill in their preferences and get seats allotted based on merit and availability. If seats remain vacant, Round 2 is conducted for fresh choice filling and allotment. After that, a Mop-up Round is organised to fill the leftover seats in government and private colleges. Finally, if any seats are still unfilled, a Stray Vacancy Round may be held at the institutional level.

UP NEET PG Counselling Process 2025

• Online Application and Registration: The first step is to register on the official website of DMET and complete the registration process. This step requires candidates to upload their documents and pay the registration fees. 

• State Merit List: After registration, DMET will prepare and publish the State Merit List based on NEET PG 2025 scores of applicants. 

• Choice Filling: This step requires candidates to log in and select their preferred medical colleges and courses. 

• Seat Allotment: Based on the merit rank, reservation rules, and filled preferences, the seat allotment result will be announced.

• Payment of Tuition Fee: After the allotment of seats, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the required tuition fee within the given timeframe. Failure to pay the fee may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
