Rajasthan NEET UG 2025 Updated Merit List Announced; Choice Filling and Seat Allotment to Take Place This Week

Rajasthan NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 1 has reached an important stage with the release of the revised provisional merit list on August 10, 2025. This updated list includes students who cleared NEET 2025 and registered for state quota counselling. It will be used to decide the order of counselling and seat allotment for MBBS and BDS courses in Rajasthan.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Rajasthan, is managing the counselling process, which is done completely online, except for the final stage of physical document verification at the allotted college. The revised merit list was released after initial registrations and document checks were completed between August 3 and August 9, 2025. This allowed candidates to check their status and raise any objections before the final list was prepared.

The registration window for counselling was reopened from August 7 to August 9, giving a chance to new candidates and those who had not finished their registration earlier to apply or complete their forms. Candidates had to pay the application fee and complete their profiles by August 9. The revised merit list has around 13,731 candidates who are eligible for counselling under the state quota. It is based on NEET 2025 scores, category-wise quotas, and the results of document verification.

After the merit list is released the counselling process will move to the next important steps:

• On August 11, 2025, certificate verification will be done for special categories, including Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Defence/Para Military personnel, and NRI candidates.

• The final merit list will be published on August 12, 2025.

• From August 12 to August 14, candidates can fill in their college and course choices and pay the security deposit based on seat availability.

• The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 18, 2025. Selected candidates must then report to their allotted institutes and complete admission steps including paying tuition fees, between August 19 and August 24, 2025.

The numbers show how competitive Rajasthan’s NEET 2025 admissions are. About 1,80,637 students from the state registered for NEET and nearly 1,19,865 qualified for counselling. Candidates should regularly check the official Rajasthan NEET counselling website for updates, merit list downloads, choice filling dates and complete counselling schedules. It is important to follow all deadlines carefully and submit documents accurately to avoid disqualification.

The release of the revised merit list and the start of counselling activities mark an important stage in Rajasthan’s NEET UG 2025 admission process.
