NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2026 Schedule Released: Check Dates, Registration and Seat Allotment Details

The MCC has officially published the NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2026 Schedule. The registration will commence from 3rd September 2026 for Round 2, and the result will be out on 11 September 2026. The candidates who wish to gain admission in MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH through the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Central Universities, and Deemed Universities can now have a look at the schedule published on the official website of MCC.

The NEET UG Counselling Round 2 is an important phase for the candidates who wish to join MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing programs. This phase offers an additional opportunity to secure seats in various medical and dental institutions based on the NEET UG result of the candidates. Those candidates who could not secure seats in Round 1 can participate in Round 2. The candidates should read the counselling carefully and must make sure that they do not face any problems in the seat allotment phase.

NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2026: Important Dates

• Un-allotted Candidates: Students who have not got any medical seat in Round 1 of the NEET UG Counsellingling.

• Upgradation Candidates: Those candidates who have obtained a seat in Round 1, but opt for the 'Float' button for an upgrade in their college.

• New Candidates: The fresh candidates who could not register themselves in Round 1.

How to Register for NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2026?

In order to register for Round 2 of the NEET UG Counselling, a student can follow the below-mentioned steps. 

Step1: Visit the official website of MCC https://mcc.nic.in/ 

Step 2: Choose UG Medical Counselling from the website.

Step 3: Go to the New Registration link for NEET UG Counselling 2026.

Step 4: Fill in the required information and NEET UG details.

Step 5: Get your login credentials and complete the registration process.

Step 6: Log in to your profile using the credentials.

Step 7: Make the payment of the necessary fees for counselling registration using the available modes.

Step 8: Choose your programs and colleges in the choice-filling process.

Step 9: Check all your preferences before locking them.

Essential Documents Required for Verification

While appearing for the allotted medical/dental college from September 12, 2026, to September 18, 2026, candidates need to produce the following documents:   

• NEET UG 2026 Score Card and Admission Card 

• Class X and XII Mark Sheets  

• Proof of Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or Passport)

• Passport-size photograph

• Caste/Category Certificate (if any)

• Provisional Allotment letter available online on the MCC website https://mcc.nic.in/

Candidates should be aware of the same information regarding the state-level counselling schedule, as the state authorities (DMEs) maintain the same schedule for the other 85% seats allotted under the state quota.
