The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test was held on 4th May, 2025 which was Sunday. More than 20 lakh students have applied for the exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the NEET 2025 results on June 14, 2025. The exam took place from 2 PM to 5 PM in a single shift. Many students found the paper more difficult and longer than in previous years.
Before the results are declared, NTA will release the provisional answer key by the end of May. Students can check the answer key on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. There will be a window in early June for students to raise objections to the answer key. Once the objections of the students are checked and reviewed, NTA will release the final answer key. The results will then be announced online. Students can check their results by entering their roll number and date of birth on the official website.
After the results are declared, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET UG counselling 2025 for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other medical undergraduate courses. The MCC will conduct counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ), while 85% of the seats will be filled through state counselling. Students are advised to regularly check the official website for updates and further information on the counselling process.
