The results of Round 1 of the NEET UG Counselling 2026, conducted by MCC, were made public on August 20, 2026. Candidates who find any discrepancy in result can raise it with MCC by 03:59 PM on August 21, 2026. Those applicants who have logged in their choices according to 15% All India Quota (AIQ), central universities and deemed medical universities will be able to avail of their results online on official website of MCC. Following option locking process from August 17 to August 18, 2026, results will be available for download in form of a PDF file and uploaded to official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in. Aspirants who have been allotted a seat should then report to college and take admission from August 22 to August 31, 2026.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised NEET UG Counselling schedule for year 2026 by modifying 1st Round timetable. At the same time, dates for choice filing and locking have also been modified and students can now fill in their choices until 11:59 PM on the 18th of August, 2026. After seat allotment process is completed, Round 1 seat allotment result was declared on 20th August 2026 and successful candidates will now need to join their respective colleges from 22nd August 2026 to 31st August 2026. Medical undergraduate admission process is regulated by MCC. Candidates who wish to get admission in MBBS and BDS need to consider these deadlines in order to get admission in top medical colleges in India.
The process to view NEET UG counselling Round 1 result after it is out is quite straightforward and can be followed as shown below:
Visit Official Website: Students looking to view result must visit main counselling website at https://mcc.nic.in/.
Go to the Undergraduate Tab: On website, click on “UG Medical Counselling” tab on homepage.
Find Result Notification: On page which gets opened,d click on “Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026” notification.
View PDF or Login: View the displayed PDF or log in using your NEET roll number and password.
View Allotment Order: Search for your rank or roll number by pressing Ctrl+F, confirm your allotted college and download provisional allotment order.
Those students who have managed to get themselves allotted seats through first-round allotment process need to report to concerned medical or dental college with below-mentioned original documents for authentication.
