The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate NEET UG 2025 today which is 3rd June 2025. The examination was conducted on May 4, 2025, with over 22.7 lakh candidates participating across more than 5,400 centers in India and abroad.
Once the answer keys are released, candidates can download the provisional answer key from the official NTA website. To access the answer key, applicants will need to log in using their application number and date of birth or password. Alongside the answer key, the NTA will also provide the candidates' OMR response sheets and recorded responses.
After the provisional answer key is released, students can check their answers. If they find any wrong answers, they can challenge them. To do this, they must give proof and pay ₹200 for each question they want to challenge. NTA will give only a few days for this. Experts will check all objections, and if they are correct, changes will be made in the final answer key.
The release of the provisional answer key allows candidates to estimate their scores ahead of the official results. The NEET UG 2025 marking scheme awards four marks for each correct answer, deducts one mark for each incorrect answer, and assigns zero marks for unanswered questions.
Following the review of objections, the NTA will release the final answer key, which will serve as the basis for evaluating student performance. The official NEET UG 2025 results are expected to be announced on June 14, 2025.
Regularly check the official NTA website for updates on the release of the answer key and other related announcements.
Ensure that login credentials are readily available to access the answer key and response sheets promptly.
If planning to challenge any answers, prepare the necessary documentation and be aware of the submission deadlines to ensure timely processing.
