On Tuesday i.e. February 16, 2022, the NTA has commenced registrations for Round 2 of the NEET-UG Exam 2021. Eligible candidates can carry out this process on the official portal which is mcc.nic.in
As per the official NEET schedule of the MCC, candidates can fill in their choices/preferences between February 17th and February 21st, 2022. Other registration-related formalities and fee payments also have to be completed by February 21st, 2022.
The NEET-UG Counseling for the All-India Quota (AIQ) is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). These seats make up 15% of the total UG medical and dental seats.
This year’s AIQ NEET-UG Counseling will have a total of 4 rounds (2 extra rounds than the previous years) namely, AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, Mop-up Round, and Stray Cavancy Round. Till 2020, the last 2 rounds were only for the central and deemed universities and the rest of the seats were transferred to State Counseling.
This year, however, all 4 rounds are exclusively there to fill the AIQ seats.
