NEET PG Counselling 2026: Seat Allotment, Fees & Dates

NEET PG 2026 counselling process is expected to start in October 2026 after the declaration of NEET PG result. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and respective state counselling authorities will conduct the admission process for MD, MS, and Diploma courses in medical colleges across India. Seat allotment will be based on NEET PG rank, category, seat availability, and candidate preferences. NEET PG counselling is the process where medical graduates are given seats for MD, MS, and other postgraduate courses based on their NEET PG exam scores. It is done online by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Students choose colleges, and seats are allotted as per rank and preferences.

The counselling process is conducted online by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges and 100% seats in Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMS institutions. The remaining 50% of state quota seats are managed by respective state authorities.
