NEET PG 2025 LIVE Updates: Supreme Court to Hear Transparency Plea, MCC Round 1 Schedule Soon

The Supreme Court will hear all cases related to the NEET PG 2025 transparency petition on September 12, 2025. Meanwhile, the counseling schedule for NEET PG 2025 is likely to be released soon by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). This counseling will be conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS and other PG medical courses for the academic session 2025-26. The counseling dates will be announced on the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in. The matter regarding transparency is still pending in the Supreme Court, which has led to confusion among the candidates.

NEET PG Counselling 2025 dates will be published soon on mcc.nic.in, while state governments will declare their respective counselling timetables. Medical Counselling Committee will release the state counselling schedule 2025 at the national level, which will be mandatory for all states to follow. Gujarat has already started the admission process, while Karnataka and Kerala have announced their bond policies.

In the last hearing of the Supreme Court, the court raised questions on the demands of the candidates regarding the transparency of NEET PG 2025. Students say that releasing the answer key only from the question ID does not serve the purpose of transparency, so they are demanding the release of the entire question paper. 

National Board of Medical Examination (NBEMS) had earlier promised to publish the answer key and marked responses with the master question set, but later released only the answer key as per the order of the Supreme Court. The merit list for central counselling of NEET PG 2025 is out and this year the exam was conducted in a single shift, in which admission will be given on the basis of rank.
