MCC NEET MDS 2026 Counselling Bulletin OUT: Check Registration Fee, Available Seats & Allotment Process
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the Information Bulletin of NEET MDS Counselling on its official website. One of the major changes that have been made this year in Information Bulletin is addition of “Freeze & Float” system, whose purpose is to ease process of document verification and seat upgradation during all rounds of counselling. Students who have opted for “Freeze” category have to physically report themselves at allotted institution to ensure admission to course. Whereas those students who have chosen “Float” category can participate in seat upgradation at a higher preference in future rounds without having to physically report at institute. The official Information Bulletin for NEET MDS Counselling was issued on 11th August 2026. This Information Bulletin provides entire process of allocation of MDS seats all over India, including eligibility criteria, non-refundable registration fee, security deposit, quota and participation criteria for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government dental colleges, 100% seats in Central Universities like BHU, AMU and DU.

Candidates taking part in MCC NEET MDS Counselling 2026 will be required to pay two kinds of fees during their online registration such as registration fees and a security deposit fee. The security deposit is refunded back to those candidates who qualify according to MCC rules following counselling procedure but registration fee is not refundable at all.

Check seat allotment result published by MCC.

NEET MDS 2026 Counselling Rounds & Seat Upgradation
NEET MDS Counselling 2026 is conducted in several rounds by MCC in order to allocate MDS seats in government, central and deemed dental colleges. Candidates may attend additional rounds according to their allotment status and eligibility.
Round 1: Initial filling of choices and allotment of seats.
Round 2: Fresh filling of choices and upgradation of seats of eligible candidates.
Round 3: Held for vacant seats left after second round.
