NMC New Guidelines for MBBS in Philippines

MBBS in Philippines is a combination of BS (Bachelor of Surgery) and MD (Doctor of Medicine). There is no doubt this destination is best to study MBBS abroad. But after the new guidelines of NMC, this changed. Previous the MBBS courses are divided into two parts that is BS+MD.

Before the new guideline of NMC, the Philippines universities considered 10+2 equal to 11th class and students compulsory to study BS program before pursuing MBBS. The BS (Bachelor of Surgery) course duration is 1 year after completing this program then, candidates appear NMAT exam, after that can get admission to the MD (MBBS) program.
