Karnataka NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Round 2 Option Entry Begun

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the second round of NEET UG 2025 Counselling Option Entry. Interested students seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy courses can now visit cetonline.karnataka.gov.in to register their college preferences and also make changes to previously selected options. KEA has also released the revised seat matrix.


Eligible applicants will have to deposit a security deposit of INR 1,00,000 by 25th August, 2025, to participate in Round 2. Students who have secured seats in Round 1 will not have to deposit this amount again. For new candidates, this amount will be adjusted in the tuition fee later. Candidates have been allowed to reorder their college and course preferences, modify them, or delete options as needed within a specified timeframe. The second round seat allocation process will depend on these revised options, with the results to be declared on 29th August 2025 after 1 pm.

How to Submit Option Entry in NEET UG 2025 Karnataka Counselling?

Applicants must apply the steps below to complete the process of making an option entry in NEET UG 2025 Karnataka counselling.

  • Go to the KEA portal cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

  • From the home page, select the Admissions tab.

  • Choose the "UGCET or UGNEET 2025" tab.

  • Click on the “Round 2 Option Entry” link.

  • Enter your user ID and password in the login window and submit.

  • Fill in your preferred college and course options and save.

  • After submission, download the confirmation page and take a printout of it.
