DCI Notice: Check Your Eligibility for Dental Screening Test

The FDGST (Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test) is managed through the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to determine their eligibility for registration with the Dental Council of India (DCI). 

Through a recent notice, the DCI has informed all the candidates about the conditions of the Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test for UG and PG programs.

According to notice, the Dental Council of India (DCI) has announced the date of the NEXT Screening Test Examinations for their foreign UG degree is going to be conducted on “11th January 2022” and PG degree are going to be conducted on “28th January 2022” at Delhi by the National Board of Examination.

The Dental Council of India also announced the reappearing date for previous year's students who failed or were absent in the examination. Students will re-appear in the screening test that is conducted up to 15th December 2021, respectively. They need to submit the fee of Rs. 10,000/- by NEFT/IMPS to be deposited Council’s Saving Account. 

All the eligible candidates will also inform by the DCI separately. The Admit Card for the examination is issued by the National Board of Examination to all eligible candidates. Students can check the complete schedule of the examination by visiting the official website mentioned above.

FDGST Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have applied for the examination can check their eligibility criteria. We have mentioned the detailed FDGST Eligibility Criteria below.

  • Candidates must have Indian Nationality or OCI/PIO cardholders.
  • Qualification of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET Exam) is compulsory for all the candidates.
  • Must check that the foreign medical colleges/universities are recognized by the concerned authority of the respective country.
  • Must fulfill other basic requirements as mentioned by the dental council in the regulations.
  • Students must follow the basic admission criteria as specified by the DCI.
