#JusticeforNEETUG : A trending hashtag for the students appearing NEET UG Exam 2022
The government of India has announced the date for NEET Exam for the undergraduate MBBS. The announced examination date is the 17th of July 2022. Students have taken this announcement seriously and requested a postponement of the NEET UG Exam. They have taken their request to social media with the recent trending hashtag of JusticeforNEETUG. The tweets have been tagged with Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan, Home Minister Amit Shah & PMO of India. The request has been sent to the PM office with more than 10,000 letters by the students.
The exam had been held in September past 2 years. In 2021 the exam had been held on 12th September 2021 & 2020 the exam was held on 13th September. Students requested the exam to be held after 30-40 days. They requested 40 days more time for their preparation. Even though the dates have been clashing with the CUET Exam.
Why students are requesting postponement?
The main tension relies upon the dropout students. Due to the late counselling, the students are getting 2-3 months to prepare for the exam. The counselling date set for April 2022. The exam will be held in July 2022. The second concern lies with the students applying for the first time. After the 12th board results, the students could not get much time for both exams CUET & NEET UG which will be held in a short gap of time. Major organizations & groups have come forward for the exam.
